Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 14, 2023
Thank you for visiting Astra Games. Your privacy is crucial to us, and we have developed this Privacy Policy to ensure you understand what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to this information.
Information We Collect
Registration information: When you register for an account with us, we collect your username and email address. Your password is saved in an encrypted format.
Aggregate visitor data: We track aggregate visitor numbers and their locations using Google Analytics.
Cookies: We use cookies to store your game progress, account login status, liked games, and game history to enhance your browsing experience. If you opt not to log into an account, only essential cookies will be saved. See the Cookie Policy for details.
Cryptographically hashed version of your IP address: We use your IP address to count our daily unique number of visitors. To do this, we convert your IP address to a cryptographic one-way hash version and save the encrypted hash in our database until the end of the calendar day. These encrypted hash values are never linked to any other identifiable user information, such as play history, liked games, or user names.
How We Use the Information
Advertisements: We partner with GameDistribution to deliver in-game advertisements. Our advertising partners might momentarily record IP addresses for the purpose of advertisement management.
Content delivery: Our CDN provider, CloudFlare, assigns the closest server to users based on IP geolocation, which means they might process the IP address for quicker content delivery.
Improving experience: Data like your game progress, likes, and history help us tailor the user experience to your preferences.
Your Choices
Cookies: You can opt out of non-essential cookies by not logging into an account. If you do this, only functional cookies will be used. You can change your decision about the voting cookie with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Google Analytics: You can prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Data Security
We prioritize the security of our servers and website and are committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of our users. We employ a range of measures to safeguard your personal information.
International Data Transfers
Our primary operations are in Turkey, but our reach is global. While we always respect the Turkish government's data collection and processing regulations, we also comply with the European Union's regulations concerning user data.
Third-party Partners
We work closely with third parties, such as advertisers, analytics providers, and content distribution networks. While these partners have their privacy policies, we ensure they align with our commitment to user privacy.
Changes to this Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy occasionally. We will always post the most recent version on this page, and if significant changes are made, we will notify our users.
